i am primarily a poet, but i love all forms of writing. i am currently working as a writer on a screenplay that will be filmed and produced in the spring with my graduating class. these poems are based on the people and places that i love, and the search for wonder in my post-adolescence. they are current versions of living documents, rather than finished poems.

INSTEAD OF MUSIC, THE DANCERS (LAUREN JOHNSEN & LIAM SIEVWRIGHT) DANCED TO MY “POEM OF THE DAY” AS I CALLED IT. THROUGHOUT THE CREATION AND PERFORMANCE PROCESS, I NEVER READ THE SAME POEM TWICE, AND NO POEM LEFT THE DANCED UNCHANGED.
